Old Town Museum is home to several historic buildings that have been moved onto the property over the history of the museum. The first was the Barn, built in 1937 and acquired in 1986. In addition to the barn, 9 other buildings were moved to Old Town, including the Depot, the oldest building here which was originally built in 1889. These buildings were moved in from locations in Burlington and surrounding communities.

Of the nearly 4000 wooden carousels carved in America between 1885 and the 1930s, fewer than 150 are still in existence. One of the finest of these survivors, however, can be found on the county fairgrounds in Burlington, CO.

The 9-hole Stratton Golf Club in Stratton, CO is a public golf course that opened in 1988. Stratton Golf Club measures 2663 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 92 and a 30.7 USGA rating. The course features 2 sets of tees for different skill levels. 719-348-5412
Are you a bird or big game hunter?
Our land is available to hunt by contacting The Infinite Outdoors Project. 100% of $25 membership initiation fee is donated to a non-profit outdoors conservation project of your choice.
Their raised pheasants can be released for hunts on October 1st so get a jump on the season!
Their mission is conservation of our natural resources with a team of biologists maintaining the properties. They want the land to be available for future generations.
The view is from the clubhouse at Painted Rock Park and is available for hunting. There are 750 acres in the immediate vicinity of the the Park and 2,000 more acres available in other areas. Imagine miles and miles of tree rows and prairie to spend the day hunting with friends and family.
